The Ridge Quest team is comprised of certified crop advisers and commercial applicators who specialize in orchard research, consulting, and scouting.
Ridge Quest:
Founded by entomologist Chandra Maleckas-Bunker in 2001, and joined by product developer Brett Bunker in 2007, Ridge Quest has been at the forefront of Integrated Pest Management solutions and novel approaches to orchard management. Chandra’s extensive background in entomology alongside Brett’s skill in CNC and plastic injection molding, has led Ridge Quest to patent the first convenient pheromone delivery system, The Tangler.

With over 25 years of experience in crop consulting, Chandra brings a wealth of expertise to the agricultural industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Entomology from Michigan State University and an MBA from Grand Valley State University. Throughout her career, Chandra has partnered with growers to implement data-driven strategies that enhance yield quality and reduce pest pressures.

Brett is the co-founder of Ridge Quest and Deploy Technologies, where he plays a central role in advancing agricultural innovation. His deep commitment to practical problem-solving and grower-focused technologies led to the development of The Tangler—a patented product that reflects his inventive approach to integrated pest management.
Dr. Kelsey Benthall
Technical Sales & Product Development
Entomologist and Researcher.
Kelsey holds a doctorate in Plant, Insect, and Microbial Sciences from the University of Missouri, where her research focused on the behavioral management of pest insects. Her work bridges the gap between scientific discovery and field application, offering growers innovative strategies for pest control that are rooted in ecological understanding and practical outcomes.
